The year 2024 marks the centennial anniversary of congress' passage of the American Indian Citizinship Act conferring American citizenship on Indigenous peoples. In recognition of this historic milestone and in honor of Montana's 70, 000 American Indians, MHS's 2024 calendar is dedicated to the Indigenous peoples and tribal nations - past, present, and future - who first called Montana "home".
