The Discovery Science series takes a developmental approach to teaching young children the skill of inquiry. Each volume explores a topic in depth, giving children the confidence to experiment, be creative, and solve problems on their own. In these two new modules, children explore the environment and investigate solids, finding out they are, how they can change, how they can be measured, what the characteristics are, and in the case of the environment, how we can help take care of it.
