The Effect of Noise in the Cochlea

Mathematical model describing the effects of noise in the cochlea is formulated. We showed that this model could correctly describe the deformation of the basilar membrane and the fluid motion.The plate equations are obtained from the three - dimensional equations of the linearized director theory of the elastic plate.
