This third volume of poetry covers the past five years, from 2008 to 2013, and reflects my spiritual growth in the journey to the prize or goal that Paul spoke of in Philippians chapter 3. I share it with you for encouragement in your own walk with Jesus Christ, the Way, Truth, and Life.

Recently I looked back over twenty-five years of walking with God by gathering these poems from my journals. This Psalm-like journey was an outpouring to God from what He was showing me daily through His Word, as well as in everyday life as I walked through His world. Near the end of 2005, my wife urged and God nudged me to publish these works. This is how this first collection of prose came to be.

This book looks at the Christian as a vessel in the Master Potter's hand, and explores what God has to say about becoming a vessel of honor, as Paul told Timothy to be a vessel for honor and not for dishonor. Holy mud describes the dust we are made of mixed with the blood of Jesus Christ which is to be used by God to make us jars of clay set apart for His use.
