This book is based on the many blessings found in Scripture. In particular, Deuteronomy twenty-eight promises blessings for obedience. Psalm one speaks of blessing. The beatitudes found in Matthew and Luke list blessings for certain types of people. Ephesians 1:3-14 gives a host of spiritual blessings.
