They do not deal in public legitimacy: they do not speak properly, nor ask to be listened to properly. You seem a stranger to these poems, so probably they will treat you like a trickster god.

More than places where ships load and unload, ports are points of departure and arrival, places where 'here' contacts 'there', and where known and unknown meet.
