Construction of Pseudospark High Power Plasma Switch

A pseudospark switch with two hollow electrodes separated by a ceramic disc in between with a trigger plug inserted near the hole has been fabricated, and it was successfully operated. In this study, a 29-kV anode voltage, 3.6 kA at 2.2 kHz with 11-ns rise time, has been achieved and operated, successfully.
