New York-based artist Nick Darmstaedter (born 1988) was born and bred in a postmodern age. The Los Angeles transplant, part of the infamous Still House Group, states that gathering and sorting are a crucial part of his practice, he uses a variety of methods to create paintings, installations and sculptures.
