Fly Creek is a 30 poem cycle that juxtaposes the shadow music of surrealism with the straightforward vernacular of Confessional Poetry. There are death-haunted poems, love poems, whimsical poems, gothic New England poems, detours into Middle English tail-rhyme and Abecedarian satire, and a sequence of poems that revolve around a semi-mythical place called Fly Creek.
