The result of our study showed the presence of 56 and 22 tree/shrub and herb species in homgardens and parklands respectively. Both high species richness and stems per agroforestry practice was recorded in homegardens than parklands. Provision of food, fodder, shade, fuel wood, income and increasing soil organic matter were uses of plant species.
