From the age of 17 I used writing as a way of dealing with emotions that I found difficult to manage. I always felt like I was in a bubble where I couldn't relate to many others around me. Years later I realised that this was due to suffering from depression and the side effects of this illness. This book is a collection of 20 poems I wrote whilst battling with depression and shows how difficult it can be to find any comfort during these times.
