The ICON-CC Metals Working Group held a conference in Figanieres-Draguignan, France in May 1998 - this volume presents 60 papers from the conference which report on the range of techniques and materials used in metal conservation, different objects and assamblages of artefacts. Taken together, they form a comprehensive survey of recent developments in conservation science.
