This is a collaborative novel written by Mr. Cooper's 2017-18 Block One Literacy class at Hadley Junior High School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
The story focuses on a group of teens who, after a series of cosmic combustions that threaten all life on Earth, must figure out how to get to NASA and fly a rocket ship to Mars in order to colonize it and save humanity.
