I contributi a questo volume trattano della relazione fra lingua e nuovi media. Da un lato certi cambi linguistici recenti sono il risultato dell'introduzione di nuovi media, e dall'altro molte risorse linguistiche, tanto primarie quanto secondarie, sono ormai disponibili in forma elettronica. I nuovi media si analizzano dunque tanto come catalizzatori del cambio linguistico quanto come strumenti per la ricerca linguistica.
