This is a collection of Robert Roberg's poems. Poetry is like photography. Each poem is a snap shot taken at some place in time. Seen together certain themes emerge. For some the snapshots will appear like the surface of a pond, when you come back later, you will see new layers and the beauty below the surface.

When Roberto, an arrogant Peace Corps volunteer is sent into the Andes Mountains of Peru, he finds himself facing bus wrecks, Shining Path Communists, cocaine, drunken Indians, loneliness, suicide, disease and earthquakes in the small Sodom and Gomorrah village of Yungay.
