This book is based on a series of articles, which appeared in the Oxford Times during the summer of 1919. The project, of which this volume is the outcome, was assisted by that newspaper and by the courtesy of its staff. It describes the doings of the 2/4th Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry during the Great War, written by Captain Geoffrey Keith Rose (1889-1959).
