This book considers conservative finite-difference schemes on grids of arbitrary structure to be a discrete model of the continuum physical system. It deals with the construction of finite-difference algorithms for elliptic or steady-state, parabolic or diffusion, and gas dynamics equations.

Deals with the construction of finite-difference (FD) algorithms for three main types of equations: elliptic equations, heat equations and gas dynamic equations in Lagrangian form. The construction of FD algorithms for all types of equations is done on the support-operators method (SOM).
