Trishna Singh OBE was born in Glasgow, a first generation Scottish Bhatra Sikh. She left school, age 13, with no qualifications. She had an arranged marriage, moving to Edinburgh, age 19 to live with her husband. She is now director of Sikh Sanjog, a group which provides support for women in the Sikh community in Edinburgh. This is her story.
