To "reconstruct" is to take something that has been broken or damaged and put the pieces back together again.
She is broken, she is damaged, she doesn't know what "whole" is supposed to look like. The thought of being unbroken is so unknown to her. She is slowly finding the missing pieces, slowly piecing herself together, slowly finding out who she is inside. She will never stop searching, finding, creating, and reconstructing herself.
