Charley was excited when she learned she was going to see Rome. She wanted to see the Coliseum ever since she learned about it in school. Her favorite part was going beneath the amphitheater and seeing where the animals, slaves, and gladiators once stood.

Amelia loved going to the park with her mother. She would play with her friends on the play sets and they would play games. She sometimes even had picnics with her mother by the duck pond. It was always so much fun!

Anna loved all creatures of the sea. Her mother decided to take her to the local aquarium so she could see exotic ones up close. Anna talked about the aquarium on the entire trip back home. Her father had a surprise for her when she arrived.

Jessica loved bells of any kind. She loved the bells at Christmas time, the sound of the phone, and ringing a doorbell. Bells were the best sound anyone could hear. Bells made Jessica very happy.

Esme's parents were fans of the rock group, The Beatles. They decided to take Esme to Liverpool, where the Beatles began their career. Esme and her parents took a tour of the city including sites of where the Beatles performed or recorded.

Emil loved living in Canada. He thought it was the best country ever! His favorite thing was celebrating Canada Day because of so much activities he could do! Emil loved watching fireworks and having barbecues with his friends and family.

Edith loved winter sports and watching the Winter Olympics. She enjoyed bobsled races, figure skating, and curling. She even cheered when Canada scored in hockey! Edith's favorite part was singing the national anthem whenever Canada won gold!!!

Cameron loved watching sports, but he especially enjoyed watching the Summer Olympics. He loved diving, track and field, and gymnastics. Cameron thought there was something special about the Olympics and he never missed an event he liked.
