Full of rhythmic and melodic interest, this concert band original is a fantastic addition to the repertoire. The tuneful scalar melody is passed throughout the ensemble and even low woodwinds and tubas have short sections of it. Percussion parts animate the driving rhythms and elegant writing in the winds. Celebration would make an excellent concert opener or work well to demonstrate a group's precision at a contest. (4:00)
