Excerpt from A Course of Study in Art: For the First Seven Years in School, to Be Used With Text Books of Art Education

These outlines are planned to accompany Text Books of Art Education, Books I to VII, and will give to the teacher the author's interpretation of the books, with suggestions as to the best use of the material and subject matter which the volumes contain.

The plan can best be carried out if each child is furnished with the Text Book corresponding to his grade.

While each supervisor or teacher will doubtless find it necessary to modify and adapt this plan of work to suit local conditions, it is believed that the outlines present a practical and comprehensive course of study in Art Education.
