The students of Drych have always been special--through their dreams, they must guide decisions and make sure that no choice is made the same way twice, keeping each world unique and safe from destruction. For one girl, the stakes are much higher, Aisling has been chosen to protect the world she lives in. When Aisling makes a terrible mistake, she is forced to leave the only home she has ever known and brave a journey to a place she's only seen in her dreams. She discovers, however, that her way is full of danger--she is being hunted by a man in black boots.
