Little races, medium sized and big ones, make up the total we are about to investigate, and it includes what so far as I remember or have been able to ascertain has never been accomplished before, the taking of precisely a quarter of the stakes in the Ascot Programme. That alone makes the year memorable for the owner who achieved it.
