His ever-attentive, affectionate and sympathising flock have solicited their pastor to recollect and commit the discourse delivered on the occasion to the press. It was designed not for the critic ear, but for the candid, the feeling heart. If it be blessed for the religious edification of the reader, it will meet the first wishes of the author, whose wounded bosom will find a balm in administering instruction or consolation to his fellow-sufferers in the vale of mortality.
