But this may have been because Of their non-dramatic character.Late in I6 I6 (the year in which Shakespeare died, April one of these poems, the Lucrece, was printed in the usual quarto form with many varia tions from the text Of May 9, 1594, with a state ment on the title-page that it was newly revised and corrected.
