Excerpt from Alphabetical Catalogue of the Library of Parliament: Being an Index to Classified Catalogues Printed in 1857, 1858 and 1864, And to the Books and Pamphlets Since Added to the Library Up to 1st October, 1867

During a Session of Parliament, no Books belonging to the Library shall be taken out of the Building, except by the authority of The Speaker, or upon receipts given by a Member of either House.
