Excerpt from Anales del Peru¿, Vol. 2A 19 de Febrero deste año, sábado, amaneció muerto el Conde de Nieba de una aplopexia. Consta de carta que la Audiencia de Lima escribió a los Corregidores del Reyno, cuia substancia, sacada de la que vide escrita al Corregi dor de Guamanga, donde se recibió a 28 de Febrero deste año, y está en el primer libro de los de Cabildo, es dar cuen ta de la muerte del Conde y que amaneció muerto de una aplopexla, y que por cartas de España se savia que S. M. Imbiaba al Licenciado Castro por Virrey, y que no se sabia las Provisiones que traia ni menos se tenia noticia de que ubiese llegado a Tierrafirme y que asique gobierne como hasta allí.
