The present study is focused on highlighting the medicinal potential of the plant Pistacia integerrima stew ex brand.The plant was collected from the Himmalyan region of Himachal Pradesh of India.The idea to work on the plant for the renaissance of its anti diabetic potential came from its use in the tribal area of the region. Although the discription about the plant has already been mentioned in the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoea but still the plant require more attention on it.
