Barrier membranes widely use in dentistry especially in oral surgery for guided bone regeneration and in implantology. There are many types of barrier membranes which can be selected according to the surgical requirements . In this book I mention the common types of barrier materials, its properties, and surgical technique. Barrier membranes are promising subject in the recent researches.My purpose is to provide readers with a suitable data about this subject.
