Life may seem hopeless, but it doesn't mean that life is over and the future is now history. I subscribed to believe that as long as life remains in the body, destiny is sure. This is the new testament of my life. It highlights some of the most trying times in my whole life, years of pain, discomfort and agony. Thanks to the creator of mankind, I did not commit suicide.
I faced off with trials that weren't easy to overcome. The valleys weren't easy to cross. But I think nothing good will ever come easy. I desired change for better. And I believed in myself. I also made attempts to serve God wholeheartedly. In fact, this testament records my story of baptism in two churches, joining each, a year apart. But I never subscribed to defeat. I am someone who believes in succeeding even in the mightiest storms. Challenges had me back to back, but I held on to myself.
I believe that there is a kingdom of greatness in me. I may not be the richest person in the world, but I learned to be contented with the little I have. This book talks about my struggle with major illnesses, from battling with major depression to squaring off with borderline personality disorder and schizoaffective disorder. During the writing of this episode of my life, I lost many friends. Many people broke ranks with me because I am mentally ill. But I was encouraged to be strong and courageous.
