C A PE L lo, (bianca, ) called also Buonaventuri, (which was the name of her first husband, ) was born in 1540. She was the daughter of Bartolomeo Capello, a nobleman and senator of Venice, and is represented by the French Biography as a monster of iniquity, upon the authority of the Jesuit Angiolo Gal luzzi, who lived a century after her time, and whose partiali for the family of De Medici has materi impaired the value of his lstoria del Gran Bucate di Toscana.
