On the 3oth of June, Clinton wrote to Sullivan that his, arrangements were complete, that all his stores and munitions of every description were at the lake, with two hundred and ten batteaux, and everything in readiness for embarcation the moment his orders to that effect should be received. On the 1st of July he proceeded to the lake himself.
