Bulletin of the Ontario Hospitals for the Insane, Vol. 4

Excerpt from Bulletin of the Ontario Hospitals for the Insane, Vol. 4: A Journal Devoted to the Interests of Psychiatry in Ontario, July, 1911

Dr. Bond is yet a young man of about 40 and after working his way up through the ranks he has been a superintendent of a London County Council Institution for about 7 years. He is energetic, observant and seemed to know every case in the place, and to be interested in every detail. His own personal observations were found in all clinical records, he could discuss intelligently the different classifications of insanity, and he knew how many pounds of milk his dairy herd had to furnish each day for each patient. He was interested in every depart ment as farm, garden, bakery, sewing room, etc. He encouraged amusements and played an instrument in both a band and orchestra, and in short he seemed to have his finger on everything about the place.
