It is a good Jubilee, especially in a time when all nations and their industry have not yet improved after the Great War. The great discoveries in the Chemical Industry were made by the author during and after the war, and they are connected with all branches of Industrial Research. All discoveries and research were made by the author in private, after years of work and study. IN THE WINE AND SPIRIT INDUSTRY-a new process was discovered by the author, which will prevent any young wine from becoming acetalised or becoming vinegar. The French manufacturers of wine will mostly benefit from this process, as they suffer great losses, and many thousands of gallons of good wine, after crossing the Channel and being held in Bond, are gradually transformed in to vinegar and have to be sold for this purpose. The author has also discovered a process to prevent a second fermentation of the ready-made wine without any preservative. IN THF PERFUMERY INDUSTRY-new synthetic perfumes and several new flavouring matters were discovered by the author, together with many new Formulae for the Perfumery Industry. IN THE TOILET PREPARATION INDUSTRY-new improvements in the manufacture, new chemicals suitable for the industry and new Formulae were created. he author was the creator of the Formula for the well-known Blue Camel Lemon Cream and the 3-inane Face Cream, sold in Great Britain and U.S.A., and he was the first chemist to apply albumen in Face Creams. A great deal of chemical research and its application in the Toilet preparation industry, were made also during the last ten years. Several synthetic chemicals have been discovered. Many synthetic essential and fatty oils have been manufactured by the author for example -synthetic sweet almond oil synthetic olive oil and synthetic cocoa butter. A new solvent was created, which, being non-alcoholic and harmless, at the same time dissolved essential oils, and was a good dilutant for flavouring essences and perfumes. A new chemical Hydrofugine, very suitable for toilet Face Cream and Powder, has been discovered, which makes the cream and powder waterproof. MANY DISCOVERIES IN DIFFERENT BRANCHES OF CHEMISTRY in his Industrial Research were made by the author some were obtained accidentally and some were created after many, many years of Industrial Research. A.s an example, the author would l mention his new Formulae for a poisonous super gas Paralon, which he regards as the strongest and the most human poisonous gas ever made for defence urposes only.
