The author was introduced to God and His goodness at an early age when she and her sister, Marie were left for more than five years with a stranger, their mom's estranged boyfriend, aka, "The Giant." Although "The Giant" abused them, he did one good thing, he sent Willie and Marie to church. "The Giant" thought New Hope Baptist Church, was just a built-in babysitter, to get them out of the house so he could do his "thing/" But little did he know... that the mothers in the church, pastor and congregation would shower Willie and Marie with the love and affection they were missing and needed. The author will introduce you to her new Father. She will share her tumultuous expeditions from Memphis to Detroit to California. You will laugh, cry, become angry, and laugh and cry again.
