Common Sense: Does It Still Exist in America?

Refreshing and thoughtful approach in correcting the course America is headed. An easy and interesting read that logically and precisely gave solutions we can all understand. I loved the examples written to support his observations. Well done. Should be a must read for everyone."

Paul R. Pignone CFP, CLU, ChFC, AIF, CSA Certified Financial Planner Boston Retirement Advisors, LLC

"Dave has captured the essence of the subject in his masterful expose of the fundamentals that are missing in society as we blithely blunder forward, and as admirably expressed by Einstein: 'Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the universe.'"

Berry J. Versfeld President TZELL New Jersey Travel Group

Every day it seems as though Common Sense is becoming a thing of the past.

Our media outlets, be it print or television, spend more time getting their agendas across and less time trying to explain the issues in a way that makes sense to most of us.

Our elected officials are not much better! They have their own agendas and it may not always match ours.

In short, this book will provide you with a common sense understanding of many issues facing us today - important issues that need to be addressed, such as Immigration, Environment, Education, Political Correctness and Entitlements, to name a few.

It's time we understand these issues so that we can better decide if our elected officials and the media are acting in our best interests or trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

Political Correctness

Wherever you turn, it seems that political correctness is running amuck in the good old USA.

Now I never really knew what "Muck" actually was, but I know it wasn't good.

We have all had to deal with issues relating to race, religion, age, economic bias, etc., over the years. Some cases were worse than others, but it seems that in general things have been improving, for the most part.

That is not to say that everyone has had a "Kumbaya" moment. Every logical person knows that bias still exists. In fact, I am fairly certain it will continue to exist, in some form or another, for the rest of time.

Here's what has changed, however. Why is everyone so thinned skinned today? Why does everything have to have an ulterior motive? Can't words and actions just mean what we think they mean?
