Y., January 9th, 1884Dear sir - You are invited by the Commissioner of Health to attend a conference, for the discussion of the question of the prevention of contagious pleuro pneumonia among cattle, to be held at this office, on January 9, 1884, at IO A. M.The existence of contagious pleuro pneumonia, especially in the southerly section of the State, and the injurious in¿uence of that disease upon the food and milk supply, make it advisable to inquire into the best means for checking and stamping out that plague.
