The journey which The Che and Alberto Granado made through Latin America
by motorbike is known all around the world. Different books and films
remind us that it was during that journey through different countries
when his political awareness and his love for the social justice arose.
This one was not, however, his only journey through South America. There
was another one, his second and last journey before becoming the Che
Guevara commandant for history.
This book tells us in first person the most unusual adventures of a
young Guevara together with his friend Carlos Ferrer. The most unknown
anecdotes, his good times in different towns in Bolivia, Perú and
Ecuador, his arguments with some people from those places, his meetings
and good byes with different women. Definitely, his enthusiasm from that
time is gathered in this testimony where we find, without any doubt,
the closest Che.
