Dietary diversity is a community-based approach for improvement in nutritional status. The author was tried to improve the nutritional status of rural households through dietary diversity, and significant improvements were observed. Measures have been suggested for diet diversity to improve the dietary diversity score like promotion of kitchen garden, knowledge imparting about health nutrition and diet, demonstration of food groups, demonstration of the convenient recipe, healthy food procurement, the introduction of preservation techniques are described in the book perfectly. The situation analysis of the selected population was done before making better intervention so that the factors affecting the nutrition status of the community, especially for rural settings like knowledge, awareness, attitude, utilization, availability, and accessibility have been under this book described deeply. Because positive results were obtained from this research, therefore the research method and approaches mentioned in this book will prove to be beneficial for other communities. It is expected that this book will prove to be beneficial for the readers working on community-based approaches.
