The Struggle persists as the band of escaped slaves continues to grow in number and have now become a formidable army known as The Gurlemeck Warriors. Led by a powerful, former Viking warlord (Lubeck) and adeptly assisted by his trusted and loyal friends, one of which is a giant of a man (The mighty Thorsten) also two self-appointed Saracen bodyguards (Tarique and Jamal) and the young, keen-eyed and sharp-witted Arab (Malik) they continue to liberate those who were taken from them. Though Lubeck's wife (Freyja) continues to use her magical abilities to aid and assist them, a sinister and supernatural entity forces its way into her life threatening all they have created together.

Escorted by entertaining, exciting and culturally diverse characters as they battle against treachery and betrayal, the tale weaves magical elements, Viking mythology and historical settings, for a captivating adventure which takes us on a colourful journey as they literally fight for those they love.
