The crisis facing not only humankind but the very planet is of such a magnitude that we need avail ourselves of all the accumulated wisdom possible-which necessarily includes the wisdom of Jesus of Nazareth-or else literally perish. Earth Brother Jesus is indeed about salvation, but salvation of the entire Earth community, and it is indeed about the potential magnificent role Jesus can play in this salvation, but a dramatically different Jesus than traditionally imagined. "Who do men say that I am?" As Jesus asked this long ago, imagine him asking it of us now. Courage to each as she or he marshals intellect wedded to soul, and dares to answer.
