To be sure, the book has identified a viable topic, researched it with appropriate techniques and methodology, and reached results with care and clarity, the hallmark of the Ivory Tower the world over. After reading through the over 200 pages of this excellent academic work, I find it pleasurable to note that the book has broken new grounds in the analysis of elections in Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.
