ThisCD provides an opportunity for cardiologists and health care professionals to test and expand their knowledge of essential vascular laboratory testing procedures. It includes a bank of case histories with associated multiple-choice questions. Extensive feedback is provided for both correct and incorrect answers selected. Answer feedback includes illustrations from a database of over a hundred related slides and video clips. This database can also be searched independently by image type, disease, condition, or technique. There is a list of over 300 references, with live links to their PubMed abstracts. Clinical 'Pearls of Wisdom' are also provided for each topic, with valuable insights, advice, and tips. The CD is a companion to the textbook Essentials of Vascular Laboratory Testing, and is designed to be either used as a supplement to the book or used independently.
