The produc tion of oranges in Florida for the 1961-62 season exceeded 113 million boxes, an increase of approximately 29 percent over the previous 3-year average (table The percentage of the Florida orange crop utilized in production of frozen concentrated orange juice increased from percent (average of previous 3 years) to percent. In addition, the yield of concentrated juice per box of fruit increased from.1.51 to gallons-approximately 5 percent.
