Excerpt from Evaluation of Three-Terminal and Four-Terminal Pair Capacitors at High FrequenciesThe low frequency (l khz) capacitance values of three-terminal and four-terminal pair air dielectric capacitors can be extrapolated to higher frequencies if the residual series inductance is known. A resonance method for evaluating the residual series inductance of these capacitor types, together with the extrapolation procedure, is described.
