Tii I 3 water is found near the furface of the ground, in the neighbourhood Of a foil abounding with black fand. It is tranfparent, but depofits a yellow fediment after ftanding a few hours in the open air. When it is put up in bottles, and well corked, it will retain its mi neral virtues for many months. It has a ferruginous talle, which is not difagreeable. Its fpecific gravity is cxaétly the fame as that of rain water.
