This book follows the fascinating story of four great men whom God used to begin a process that would eventually culminate in the Messiah, Jesus Christ. God's great covenant was first given to Abraham and then passed down to his son, Isaac, his grandson, Jacob and ultimately to his great grandson, Joseph. These men were not supersaints. They made mistakes and exhibited many of the weaknesses that characterized us all. There is therefore much to learn from their lives as, by faith, they overcame the obstacles that confronted them along the road of life.
