This is the second novel in the Malcolm Craig series. It covers the period from the beginning of World War Two until 1956 when Malcolm Craig and his wife, Marina Dunbar have no option but to leave the United Kingdom for South Africa.

Fiona Compton is putting finishing touches to the third novel in the Malcolm Craig series and hopes to publish it by the end of 2015.
