Excerpt from First Latin Grammar

IN this short Grammar of the Latin Accidence I have endeavoured to arrange the paradigms in such a way as to give some hint of the connection between the different forms, Without departing from the traditional number and order of Declensions and Conjugations. In the arrange ment by stems I have closely followed Mr. Roby, even in the somewhat uncertain distinction between consonant and i-stems in the Third Declension pf Nouns, feeling that some division is necessary, and that his is more satisfactory than any other.
